Following world trends in publishing for young people, we decided to prepare a book that would draw the attention of the young generations living in the region to the heroines of our culture, i.e. to all those women who left their mark on the cultures of the mentioned countries. Through this project, we want to motivate as many authors as possible, who, with their works about famous women , would first of all draw the attention of young people to real role models - women who were ahead of their time.

    In a time of general decline in value and interest in real topics, and more and more often forgetfulness, we want to show who our real heroines really are great and diverse cultures and who today's young generations of girls, women and women should look up to.

    The call is open to all authors who write in BHS languages. The contest will not be time-limited, but its duration will depend on the volume and quality of the works received, and thus the contest will end when a sufficient number of quality works for the publication of the mentioned publication is collected.

    The book "Our Heroines" will initially be published as a digital edition, until funds are raised to publish the print edition. In addition to educational texts about famous women, we will also try to create interesting illustrations in order to make the entire project, its basic idea and noble mission accessible to young generations, who, unfortunately, today are increasingly deprived of such and similar educational content.

    And don't forget, the first author  of a literary work in the history of mankind was a woman - the Sumerian poet and priestess Enkheduan! And who were our heroines?
