Egyptian journalist and writer Ahmed Al-Lawandi

In his introduction to the book, Ahmed Al - Lawandi says:

There is no doubt that the poet Ali Al-Hazmi is one of the most important Saudi and Arab poets in the modern era. In his poems, he is concerned about people and their issues, and I think that his poetry will remain long, as such poetry cannot in any way be lost or erased from the memory. Especially because it was written slowly, very carefully and with great awareness. Rather, I do not exaggerate when I say that Ali Al-Hazmi's poetry overlooks life, and for that reason his writings were able to be universal with distinction, because their language is calm, graceful, sublime, attractive, and away from the free bustle, as it is very human, and open to various interpretations, raising the recipient through in-depth questions, difficult to reach its ends.

Ahmed Al-Lawandi goes on and says:

I have collected in this book a collection of articles and critical studies, written by prominent critics of Arab and international culture, from Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Lebanon, Morocco, Egypt, Syria, Palestine, Iraq, Tunisia, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Italy, Serbia and France where international critics wrote about five collections of the poet Ali Al-Hazmi, in the book entitled The Gate of the Body four studies were written, in the collection entitled Khusran (Loss) eleven studies were written, in the collection of books entitled The Gazelle Drinks Its Image twenty-four studies were written, in the collection entitled Safe on the Edge, fourteen studies were written, and in diwan entitled Now in the Past four studies were written. There is also a psychological study written by the Egyptian critic Dr. Rasha Al-Fawal. And studies of works translated into other languages, including five studies. The last study was written by the Saudi poet and academic Mohammad Habibi, whose speech is presented at a celebration organized by the governor of the city of Damad, on the occasion of the poet's winning of the Uruguay International Poetry Festival in 2015.

Ahmed Al-Lawandi concludes his introduction by saying:

After that brief introduction, I leave you, dear reader, with the book, which I hope will be an important addition to the Arab library, and that it will be a source for scholars and those interested in reading Ali Al-Hazmi's poetry here and there.
